Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Windjammers now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewiston for a Class A North challenge on Friday, May 19. Camden Hills will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to clash with the Capers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 18. The Capers come into the game with a record of 5-5. Cape Elizabeth lost 17-6 in their recent non-league game against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME)
