The Eastern Tech Mavericks softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Sparrows Point Pointers to 9 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Eastern Tech moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Friday, May 19. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 4-1. Gwynn Park won 17-11 in their recent non-league game against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD)
