The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers routed the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Golden Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Claysburg-Kimmel nudged Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA), 13-3, in a league battle.

The Mountaineers now sport a 4-12 record.
