Londonderry Lancers (Londonderry, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windham for a Division I challenge on Monday, May 22. Londonderry will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Merrimack falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tomahawks travel to Goffstown (Goffstown, NH) to face the Grizzlies in a Division I challenge on Monday, May 22. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Goffstown won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH)
