The Old Lyme Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Morgan Huskies to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Old Lyme moves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Plainfield (Central Village, CT) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 18. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 10-6. Plainfield won 7-2 in their recent league game against Windham (Willimantic, CT)

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a Shoreline - Large game, on Friday, May 19. Morgan will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Noises come into the game with a 8-8 record after their 12-5 league loss to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT).
