In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers softball team scored a nice 21-6 win over the St. Rose Purple Roses.

Coming up next, the Scarlet Fliers battle the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 18. Neptune will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record.

The Purple Roses (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the Shore A - Central outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Shore Regional was routed by Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ), 10-0, in a non-league outing.
