Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neuqua Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. Oswego East will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 16-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 14-11. Wheaton-Warrenville South lost 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
