In Friday's league game, the host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars baseball team scored a nice 13-4 victory over the Maple Lake Irish.
The Jaguars (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Thunder go into the non-league game with a 11-4 record.
The Irish (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Glencoe-Silver Lake was overwhelmed by New London-Spicer (New London, MN), 5-0, in a league game.
