Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) and the host Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), saw Woodland's baseball squad knock off Calais by a count of 9-2.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a Class D North battle, on Monday, May 20. Woodland will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME).

The Blue Devils now possess a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shead for a non-league battle on Friday, May 24.
