The Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) baseball the visiting Housatonic Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 4-0 in Friday's league challenge.
With the win, Shepaug Valley upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Spartans host Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to encounter the Highlanders in a Berkshire challenge on Saturday, May 18. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 15-3.
With the defeat, Housatonic falls to 0-5 on the season.
