Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Golden Bucks now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dexter for a Class C North challenge on Monday, May 20.

With the loss, George Stevens Academy falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME) to face the Tigers in a Class C North challenge on Monday, May 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Sumner won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
