With the triumph, Lincoln moves its record to 14-19 on the year. The Railsplitters travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to play the Braves in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 18. The Braves come into the contest with a record of 26-5. Mt. Zion won 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Rochester (Rochester, IL)

In their next game, the Senators play the Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 21. Springfield will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record. The Tornadoes come into the contest with a 6-20 record after their 8-6 league win over Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL).
