Michigan High School Baseball - Allen Park holds off Salem

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Allen Park Jaguars baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Salem Rocks.
The Jaguars (18-8) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Railsplitters go into the Downriver game with a 4-23 record. In their last game, Lincoln Park was overwhelmed by Erie-Mason (Erie, MI), 12-9, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rocks play the Dearborn Pioneers (Dearborn, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 19. Salem will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 11-13 record after their 8-0 league loss to Churchill (Livonia, MI).
