The Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) baseball got by the visiting Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Bays now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Newberry for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. Brimley will clash with a Indians team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Pickford drops to 12-1 on the year. The Panthers host Rudyard (Rudyard, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Straits Area challenge on Monday, May 19. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Rudyard lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI)
