The Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Jets now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Houghton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17. Jeffers will clash with a Gremlins team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, Hancock drops to 0-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host L'Anse (L'Anse, MI) to clash with the Purple Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. The Purple Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 0-6.
