The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hopkins Vikings (Hopkins, MI) and the visiting Wyoming Wolves (Wyoming, MI), saw Hopkins's baseball team gain a win over Wyoming by a tally of 6-2.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 22. Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 25-7 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 19-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI).
The Wolves (11-13) will now prepare for their bout against Belding (Belding, MI). The Black Knights enter the non-league bout with a 5-13 record. In their last bout, Belding was overwhelmed by Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
