Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 4-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Little Cypress-Mauriceville advances its record to 29-8 on the season.
The Eagles now have a 24-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge City for a non-league match on Saturday, May 24. Salado will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 25-6.
