The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Marquette University Hilltoppers (Milwaukee, WI) and the host St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Milwaukee, WI), saw Marquette University's baseball team get by St. Thomas More by a margin of 4-3.

The Hilltoppers (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, WI). The Phoenix enter the Greater Metro battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Menomonee Falls held off Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI), 12-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cavaliers face the Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) in a Metro Classic battle, on Tuesday, May 20. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 12-5 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
