The Cornwall Central Dragons baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Valley Central Vikings to 5 in the Dragons non-league win on Saturday.
The Dragons now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goshen Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. Cornwall Central will clash with a Gladiators team coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-6.
With the defeat, Valley Central drops to 6-7 on the year. The Vikings host Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-5.
