The New Riegel Blue Jackets softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Gibsonburg Golden Bears to 2 in the Blue Jackets league win on Saturday.

The Blue Jackets now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell-Loudon for a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Tuesday, May 20. New Riegel will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Gibsonburg moves to 15-7 on the season. The Golden bears host Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to confront the Polar Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. The Polar Bears come into the battle with a record of 6-14. Margaretta lost 19-18 in their recent non-league battle against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH)
