The Highland Park Scots softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers to 10 in the Scots non-league win on Saturday.

The Scots now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. Highland Park will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Minneapolis Southwest moves to 8-12 on the season. The Lakers travel to Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Teddies in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Teddies come into the battle with a record of 9-11. Roosevelt won 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN)
