Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights face the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban challenge, on Thursday, May 20. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 1-1 league Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
The Boilermakers now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stagg for a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 20. Bradley-Bourbonnais will face a Chargers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-8.
