California High School Baseball - McClatchy nips Franklin

May 18, 2022: Sacramento, CA 95818

McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, McClatchy upgrades its record to 28-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Whitney (Rocklin, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, May 26. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 27-5. Whitney won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA)

With the defeat, Franklin falls to 24-7 on the season.
