Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Greater Nanticoke Area upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to battle the in a non-league test on Thursday, May 19. The come into the test with a record of 2-16. Wilkes-Barre lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Dallas (Dallas, PA)

With the defeat, Hanover Area falls to 5-12 on the season. The Hawkeyes travel to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to battle the Royals in a Wyoming Valley 2 test on Thursday, May 19. The Royals come into the test with a record of 4-12.
