Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Wallenpaupack Area sneaks past North Pocono

May 18, 2022: Covington Township, PA 18444

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) and the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), saw Wallenpaupack Area's baseball squad edge North Pocono by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Buckhorns play the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 19. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 17-2 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA).

The Trojans now possess a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 2 battle on Thursday, May 19. North Pocono will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-9.
