The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ) and the visiting Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ), saw West Milford's lacrosse team nudge Pascack Valley by a margin of 8-7.

The Highlanders (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, West Essex edged Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ), 16-1, in a non-league challenge.
