In Wednesday's league contest, the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA), by a margin of 11-2.

With the triumph, Lynden moves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Lions host Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to play the Cougars in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Wednesday, May 18.
