In Wednesday's league contest, the Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) softball team held off the visiting East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Halifax moves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 19. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 19-1. Tri-Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA)
