The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Epping Blue Devils (Epping, NH) and the host Pittsfield Panthers (Pittsfield, NH), saw Epping's softball squad nip Pittsfield by a count of 9-5.
The Blue Devils now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wilton-Lyndeborough for a Division IV match on Friday, May 20. Epping will face a Warriors squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Newmarket (Newmarket, NH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Pittsfield falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hinsdale (Hinsdale, NH) to face the Pacers in a Division IV match on Saturday, May 21. The Pacers enter the match with a record of 3-8.
