Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) and the host Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), witnessed Linganore's softball squad prevail over Governor Thomas Johnson by a count of 10-0.

The Lancers now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Damascus for a non-league match on Friday, May 20. Linganore will face a Hornets squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 21-0.

With the loss, Governor Thomas Johnson moves to 5-1 on the season.
