The Satsuma Gators got by the visiting Hayden Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Gators (24-11) will now prepare for their battle against Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Valley Cubs go into the non-league battle with a 42-10 record. In their last battle, Alexandria nudged Moody (Moody, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Point for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 18. Hayden will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Ardmore (Ardmore, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 25-9.
