In Wednesday's league contest, the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) softball team held off the visiting Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), by a margin of 9-8.
With the triumph, John Bapst Memorial moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Crusaders host Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 24. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 3-10. Maine Central Institute won 11-4 in their recent league contest against Mount View (Thorndike, ME)
In their next game, the Hawks play the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 20. Hermon will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
