St. Michaels Saints (St. Michaels, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mardela for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. St. Michaels will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Washington (Princess Anne, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, North Dorchester falls to 16-4 on the campaign.
