The Appleton North Lightning baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Oshkosh West Wildcats to 0 in the Lightning league victory on Thursday.
The Lightning (13-5) will now prepare for their match against D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Evergreens go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Kimberly (Kimberly, WI). The Papermakers go into the Fox Valley Association match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Kimberly gained a win over Hortonville (Hortonville, WI), 9-4, in a league match.
