The crowd at Thursday's league game between the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) and the visiting East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), saw North Smithfield's lacrosse team top East Providence by a margin of 15-5.
The Northmen (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples enter the Division 4 game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Classical was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 12-1, in a league game.
