Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT), 16-6 in a league test.

The River Hawks now have a 11-4 record.

In their next game, the Nor'easters face the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 20. Newington will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-9 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Xavier (Middletown, CT).
