The West Warwick Wizards softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Burrillville Broncos to 5 in the Wizards league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, West Warwick improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Wizards travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to clash with the Avengers in a non-league game on Friday, May 19. The Avengers come into the game with a record of 17-1. East Greenwich won 8-0 in their recent league game against North Providence (North Providence, RI)

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a Division 2 game, on Monday, May 22. Burrillville will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 10-4 record after their 8-3 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
