Maine High School Softball - Calais can't hold off Woodland

The Woodland Dragons softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Calais Blue Devils to 8 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Woodland moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Dragons host Searsport (Searsport, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, May 20. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 7-3. Searsport lost 8-5 in their recent non-league game against Narraguagus (Harrington, ME)
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 22. Calais will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Pandas come into the game with a 0-12 record after their 25-3 league loss to Stearns (Millinocket, ME).
