Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) and the visiting Greater Houlton Christian Academy (Houlton, ME), witnessed Presque Isle's softball squad tip Greater Houlton Christian Academy by a count of 3-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Hermon for a Class B North match on Saturday, May 20. Presque Isle will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Greater Houlton Christian Academy moves to 3-4 on the season. The host Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME) to meet the Lynx in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 24. The Lynx go into the match with a record of 12-0.
