The Huron Chiefs baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Bedford Kicking Mules to 4 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chiefs (25-4) will now prepare for their match against Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Red Devils go into the Huron match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Grosse Ile was overwhelmed by Airport (Carleton, MI), 12-2, in a league match.
The Kicking Mules (8-15) will now prepare for their match against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts go into the Southeastern - Red match with a 18-5 record. In their last match, Dexter edged South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 9-1, in a non-league match.
