Blair Academy Bucs (Blairstown, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), 11-10 in a non-league test.

With the win, Blair Academy upgrades its record to 3-14 on the season.

With the defeat, Newton falls to 6-20 on the season. The Braves travel to Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 10-12. Lenape Valley lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)
