In Saturday's non-league contest, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) lacrosse squad edged the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), by a count of 8-7.
Coming up next, the Knights confront the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 20. Cave Spring will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 15-0 record after their 22-2 non-league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
The Wildcats now own a 7-8 record.
