The Classical Purple lacrosse squad (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI)
Coming up next, the Lions meet the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Sunday, May 19. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 1-0 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI).
The Purple now sport a 5-12 record.
