The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Baltic Bulldogs to 4 in the Fighting Cougars league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, McCook Central/Montrose improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Fighting Cougars travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD) to clash with the Warriors in a Class B game on Tuesday, May 21. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 15-4. Castlewood lost 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a Class B game, on Tuesday, May 21. Baltic will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Flyers come into the game with a 17-1 record after their 7-3 league win over Deuel (Clear Lake, SD).
