Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Morris Knolls for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21.

With the loss, Bergen Tech falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ) to battle the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 2-18. Mahwah lost 12-4 in their recent league challenge against River Dell (Oradell, NJ)
