Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 12-3 in a league challenge.

The Shiretowners now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mattanawcook for a Class C North challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Houlton will face a Lynx squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Fort Kent falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Houlton (Houlton, ME) to face the Shiretowners in a Class C North challenge on Monday, May 27. The Shiretowners enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
