The J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) baseball got by the visiting Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 1-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 19.

With the defeat, Bernards drops to 13-9 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 19. The Minutemen go into the challenge with a record of 10-6.
