The Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) baseball the visiting Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA), 7-5 in Monday's league challenge.

The Packers now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poquoson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 20. Smithfield will clash with a Bull Islanders team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over York (Yorktown, VA). The Bull Islanders record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Gloucester drops to 11-8 on the year. The Dukes host Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 20. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Warhill won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)
