The Marshwood Hawks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host York Wildcats to 14 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Marshwood moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Hawks host Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to play the Mustangs in a Class A South test on Saturday, May 22. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 6-6.
The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Traip (Kittery, ME). The Rangers come into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Traip was routed by Massabesic (Waterboro, ME), 22-7, in a non-league test.
