Rhode Island High School Baseball - Ponaganset loses to North Providence

In Thursday's league game, the visiting North Providence Cougars baseball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Ponaganset Chieftains.
The Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI). The Kilties go into the Division 2 game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Mt. Pleasant was overwhelmed by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 8-0, in a league game.
The Chieftains (9-10) will now prepare for their game against North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Cougars go into the Division 2 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, North Providence was overwhelmed by Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI), 6-5, in a league game.
